|This weekend was quite the adventure! My sister and her husband have been wanting to paint their house, so we volunteered to take their 3 kiddos for the weekend. It was a weekend filled with hundreds of activities, about a thousand snack breaks and one big nap (which I am personally very proud of because all 3 kids were sleeping at the SAME TIME). It was a miracle!
We had a blast drawing pictures on the windows, going on "squirrel-catching" adventures (we went on a long walk to try to find squirrels because Adam and April really wanted to catch one...which obviously didn't happen, but it was funny watching them try :)), playing Mario Kart, Barbies, coloring, making pancakes, watching Kung Fu Panda and simply pushing each other around in a laundry basket. The kids were little angels the entire time and the days just flew by! (I would have taken more pictures, but we kind of had our hands full):)
After we brought them home yesterday, Eric and I were zombies and in bed by 8:30 p.m. last night getting 10 hours of glorious SLEEP!! (I really don't know how my sister does it!) :)
(By the way, whoever invented washable markers is my new best friend!)
Who knew that Crayola made markers for windows!? The kids loved drawing beautiful murals in our kitchen! :)
