|It's rare that I can find time to sit down to read, but this morning I made it a point to open up a book I've been craving for the past few months. Much to my surprise, I read the entire book in one sitting and, needless to say, it was amazing and I was inspired. Annie Leibovitz is a name I'm sure most of you are familiar with, being one of the most popular photographers of our time. When I heard that she was coming out with a new book that detailed her work, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. Of course I could be immersed in her photographs for hours at a time, but reading her words is like peering into a secret diary that reveals so much about what I have been wondering about. In some ways I can relate with her and in others, she is leaps and bounds ahead of where I am at. I don't see this as a downfall, but rather an inspiration and excitement of where life can take me. If you are a photographer or even someone who is just interested in photography, I highly recommend picking up "Annie Leibovitz At Work".
