Kelly & Matt - Part 1

| I am still smiling from Saturday's wedding because of the beautiful couple, Kelly & Matt, who so generously invited me to share their day with them; their ever-so-loving families and of course their friends who helped fill the day with laughter and joy. The day was incredibly memorable for, I'm sure everyone who attended, but as the photographer I made a few special notes from this day. I can confidently say that I encountered the calmest-bride-and-groom-in-the-entire-world. :) They were absolutely beautiful and I feel so fortunate to have been a part of their day. Kelly & Matt - thank you!! I look forward to our many years of friendship and I'm so thankful our lives crossed paths. Oh yes, and of course I LOVE photographing you! :)
There was not one detail overlooked. The cala lilies and roses from Richfield Flowers & Events were perfect in every way; Midwest Sound & Light Shows mastered the dance floor (I have never seen so many people dancing in my life!!); and the people from Linen Effects did an AMAZING job on the decor. And did I mention they had a martini ice louge?? (more on that in tomorrow's post) :) Of course I can't forget the fabulous Mary Jo at The Saint Paul Hotel who pulled off the entire event without a hitch! Oh yes, and to the guests - thank you for smiling! Everywhere I looked there was a photograph - you made me love my job even more (and I didn't think that was possible)! :) |

Anna & Maren

| On this gorgeous Wednesday evening I photographed two of the sweetest little girls - Anna and Maren. The evening was perfect and the light was a photographer's dream! Anna and Maren - thanks for playing tonight! I had so much fun with you! :)

Kristi & Luke

| This weekend I had the honor to photograph Kristi & Luke's wedding and it was such a wonderful day! Luke and I actually met back in 2001 when we studied abroad in New Zealand & Australia together through the Pacific Challenge program. I was thrilled when I got the call that he was getting married and that they wanted me to capture their day! Kristi and Luke are just perfect together and it's been such a pleasure getting to know them as a couple!
The ceremony was at the gorgeous Basilica of Saint Mary in Minneapolis with the reception following at the Earle Brown Heritage Center . Kristi and Luke - thank you for everything! It was such an honor to be a part of your day! :) |
| The Basilica is absolutely breathtaking - I just love photographing weddings there! Luke and Kristi had about 300 guests at their wedding - just to give you a sense of scale. :) |

Grace & Jacob

| Yesterday I photographed the cutest little family and we had such a fun time together! Grace is 1 and is a walking machine - she was cruising all over the park! And 3-year old Jacob didn't stop smiling for a second! |
